According to a recent report by Remodeling magazine, smaller, simpler remodeling jobs are more likely to return a greater value than large jobs when selling your house.

The best remodeling choices are those items that a visitor can easily see, those that help improve a first impression, such as Entry door replacement, Manufactured stone veneer, Garage door replacement and Siding replacement, fiber cement.

A minor kitchen remodel, costing less than $20K, is also in the top 10 on the list as well as addition of a deck, basement or attic remodel and window replacement.
